Seneca HALE was born on 5 Oct 1811 in Pompey, Onondaga Co., NY.⁽²⁾ He owned property - 160 acres ($1.25 an acre purchase price) on 10 Dec 1840 in Hales Corners, WI.^{(3) (4)} See map image listed under Ebenezer Ehle. He was married to Helena EHLE (daughter of John P. EHLE and Catharine GARLOCK) about 1840. Helena EHLE was born on 10 Jul 1818. She was living in in 1840 in Hales Corners, WI.⁽⁵⁾ This book has history of the Hale family, and includes photos of Helena Ehle Hale, Seneca and William Hale. She died in Dec 1882. Seneca HALE and Helena EHLE had the following children:
